Wednesday is Museum Day on Fountain Square

Museum Day participants will have several hands-on opportunities including looking at genealogy files and maps from the Delhi Historical Society, sun-gazing with the Cincinnati Observatory, or participating in a Junior Ranger activity with the William Howard Taft National Historic Site.

Morenci police: Unearthed grave marker mystery solved

Genealogy enthusiasts and archivists appear to have solved the mystery behind the whereabouts of two people listed on a grave marker unearthed recently in a Morenci backyard. Morenci Police Chief Larry Weeks said a Morenci resident in the 200 block of East Union Street was doing gardening work over the May 5-6 weekend and unearthed the grave marker buried face down about a foot under the yard’s ...
